Dongbu Daewoo releases NFC-enabled smart series

In Korea, Dongbu Daewoo has released its Klasse Smart series of refrigerators incorporated with an STMicroelectronics RFID tag. The tag collects data about an appliance's performance, and then transmit it to user's via mobile phone.
