NTT Comware Realizes PUE 1.02 with Free Cooling System

In October, 2012, NTT Comware announced that it would start services for a data center with heat rejection system using a free cooling system that does not use mechanical cooling units at all. As a result of demonstration tests with the system which have continued since November 2011, the company has reportedly confirmed that it is possible to offer stable services at the power usage effectiveness (PUE) of 1.02, even in the intensely cold or hot seasons.
