Renewables to surpass gas by 2016 in the global power mix

The Consumer Confidence Index, tracked by the Conference Board, improved in June 2013 for the third month in a row. The index was at 81.4 in June, from 74.3 in May 2013. The last time the index topped this level was January 2008, when the index was at 87.3.
