Green Building Standard to be Implemented in Beijing

During the eco-city and green building promotional meeting held in Beijing recently, the Beijing Municipal Commission of City Planning announced that starting in June, new buildings in Beijing will be required to be 75% more energy-saving than current buildings, reaching the level of the widely-acknowledged Green Building Standard.
