NTT Facilities and Hitachi Appliances Develop PACs for Data Centers

NTT Facilities and Hitachi Appliances have jointly developed a data center air conditioning system that pairs the rack-type packaged air conditioning (PAC) system FTASCL-RS/C, which has the same shape as a rack designed for IT equipment, with a rack-type air conditioning system that uses aisle cappings designed to control air flow. This paired system aims to reduce the amount of electricity needed for data center air conditioning.
