Haier Names Cain to Head Appliances

Haier America hired Rian Cain to run its appliance business as Home Appliances and Home Comfort senior vice president of sales and marketing. Cain was most recently VP of sales and marketing for American TV and Appliance, a retail chain based in Madison, WI. He was previously head of Sharp Electronics' home appliance division. From 2001-2004 he was vice president of business development for Maytag.
