Haier Contributes $1.62 Million to Earthquake Relief

Chinese appliance maker Haier Electronics Group Company and its subsidiaries are donating a total of RMB 10 million (approx. US$1.62 million) to earthquake relief efforts in the Ya'an region of China. Ya'an City, in the Sichuan Province of China, was struck by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake on April 20, 2013.
