AC Sales Slump by 25% in RY 2012

According to statistics released by the State Information Center on August 30, the number of air conditioners sold in the domestic market during 2012 refrigeration year (RY; from August 1, 2011 to July 31, 2012) declined by 25.1%, compared to the same period last year, while sales revenue dropped by 19.4%, a record year-on-year fall since RY 2007.
