Qingdao Haier is to invest RMB 1.04 billion (about US$ 160 million) in construction of new appliance plants in Guangdong and Liaoning Provinces and also to establish the Foshan Haier Electric Freezer subsidiary to manufacture up to 2 million high-efficiency freezers annually
