Air conditioner sales in Chinese market are estimated to increase by 6% in 2011, according to China Market Monitor. Industry insiders said inverter air conditioners are becoming the mainstream products in 2011 because leading manufacturers are putting more emphasis on the development of highly energy efficient products. Inverter air conditioners will become more popular in the market and are estimated to outclass non-inverter products by 2013. Sunning Appliance North China CEO said that non-inverter air conditioners may no longer be available in two years.
