1. Rhode Island Announces US$ 25 Million for Heat Pump Program
On September 1, Governor Dan McKee of Rhode Island announced that the state was launching a heat pump program called Clean Heat RI. The program will provide incentives for households, small-and medium-sized businesses, and other groups such as non-profit organizations (NPOs) to purchase and install high-efficiency heat pump systems.

2. Danfoss Offers Oil-free Compressors for Comfort Cooling and Data Centers
Danfoss has expanded its oil-free Turbocor portfolio to include the TGS380 and TTS450 models, offering a high-capacity, energy-efficient solution for use in comfort cooling, intensive ambient environments, and data center applications. The Turbocor TGS380 is optimized to use low-GWP refrigerants HFO1234ze and R515B, while TTS450 is optimized to use R134a and lowGWP R513A, which helps customers comply with evolving regulations, minimize carbon emissions, and meet increasingly stringent environmental standards.

3. Hisense Indonesia Targets Opening 152 Service Center Outlets
Hisense International Indonesia continues to strive to provide excellent after-sales service for Hisense customers, by building a network of 107 authorized service centers in 79 cities and 25 provinces, with a target of reaching 152 outlets by the end of 2023.

4. CAREL Provides Customers with the Most Efficient Energy-saving Control Solutions
JARN made a special trip to visit CAREL’s factory in Suzhou, China, to discover the reasons underlying the company’s continuous steady growth. CAREL’s Suzhou factory has spacious and bright workshops, and each production line uses materials arranged to enable its site staff to able to work in an orderly manner. On these production lines, its products such as controllers, electronic expansion valves, and humidifiers are produced then shipped within China and to the Asia-Pacific region. Thanks to such a well-organized production system among others, CAREL’s Suzhou factory reportedly achieved revenue reaching almost RMB 700 million (about US$ 97 million) in 2022, an increase of 8% compared with 2021.

5. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia (MHIAA) Awarded Choice Best Brand of Air Conditioners
For the sixth consecutive year, MHIAA has won the coveted Choice Best Brand of Air Conditioners for 2023. “This award is especially significant because we are the only air conditioner brand to have achieved this accolade over a consecutive period-making us the most independently awarded brand of air conditioners in the country,” comments managing director for MHIAA, Mr. Yuji Ito.
