Japan RAC Shipments Decrease, But Retail Sales Go Well in July

On August 23, 2023, the Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association (JRAIA) announced the domestic shipments of room air conditioners (RACs) in July. The number of units shipped from manufacturers was 1,106,373 units, a decrease of 23.8% compared with the same month in 2022.
