Danfoss and Vacon to Join Forces in AC Drives Business

Danfoss announced a public tender offer for all shares of the Finnish AC drives company Vacon. Vacon shareholders are being offered a cash consideration of 34 Euro (US$ 43) for each share in Vacon representing an aggregate equity purchase price of approximately 1.038 billion Euro(US$ 1.3 billion).
