Japan is the world’s largest gas heat pump (GHP) market. According to statistics released recently by the Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association (JRAIA), domestic shipments of GHPs during the period spanning January to June of 2019 reached nearly 17,000 units.
