Panasonic Demonstrates Pick-up Service with Frozen/refrigerated Lockers

Based on its track record of introducing lockers in existing commercial facilities and food retail stores, the company has installed lockers in existing condominiums and housing complexes, and is verifying a 24hour unmanned pick-up service for frozen and refrigerated goods. In this demonstration experiment, two types of services are provided: a service that delivers fresh local produce and seafood handled by participating primary industry businesses and retailers directly to lockers, and a service in which transport companies deliver to lockers when they are restocked.
