Future Direction of China’s Subsidies for Clean Heating

On September 28, the Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued the air pollution comprehensive control action plan for autumn and winter in 2020 to 2021 for Fenwei Plain in addition to Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and surrounding areas, which pointed out that the central special funds for air pollution prevention and control continue to support the operational subsidies for clean heating in rural pilot areas covering Coal-to-Gas and Coal-to-Electricity projects.
