Daikin Exceeds Energy Efficiency Level in New Brazil Labeling Program

In October 2020 Daikin will launch a full line of residential products with the new Programa Brasileiro de Etiquetagem (PBE) air conditioner rating label. The new criteria issued by Inmetro in July highlight the energy saving features of equipment with inverters; power consumption is now measured using the partial load and seasonal metrics method, resulting in a Desempenho de Resfriamento Sazonal (IDRS), cooling seasonal performance factor – a more reliable indicator providing consumer guidance.
