U. S. Announces Ruling on Antidumping Duty for HFCs from China

On March 3, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced a preliminary affirmative ruling that certain hydro-fluorocarbons (HFCs) imported from China are circumventing antidumping duty (AD) orders. The AD orders pertain to ‘unpatented R421A from China, which are further processed into finished HFC blends in the Unit- ed States.’ HFC blends covered by the scope of this action are R404A, R407A, R407C, R410A, and R507A.
