As we reported in the November issue of JARN, an amendment to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer was adopted at the 28th Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (MOP28), which took place in Rwanda in October, to regulate production and use of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).
