Air Purifier Shipments Up 54% in April

According to an announcement made by the Japan Electrical Manufacturers’ Association (JEMA), domestic shipments of home electrical appliances (so-called white goods) in April this year totaled ￥145.6 billion (about US$ 1.5 billion), down 9.6% from the same month of the previous year, thus registering negative growth after an interval of three months.
