Renesas Electronics to Expand Cooperation with TSMC

The Japanese semi conductor giant Renesas Electronics announced on May 28 that it would expand its cooperation with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), having TSMC produce Renesas’s key product microcontroller, so as to reduce cost and improve competitiveness.
