Sharp to Build New Factory in Indonesia

Sharp has decided to build a new white goods manufacturing facility in Indonesia through an investment of about ￥10 billion. By transferring the production of white goods from its existing factory in Jakarta to the new facility (to be completed in 2013), Sharp intends to more than double its refrigerator and washing machine manufacturing capacity.
