The impact of the financial crisis on the central air conditioning plant industry can be seen from the figures for chiller sales which fell from 1,600 units in 2009 to less than 1,200 in 2010 and will just about reach 1,100 units in 2011. Thereafter BSRIA thinks the market will stabilize with growth up to 1,200 units possible by 2014.
