Toshiba Carrier Names Akira Inoue New President

On March 19, Toshiba Carrier announced that Akira Inoue, executive officer, would be appointed president of Toshiba Carrier as of April 1. The appointment was officially decided at an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting and extraordinary board of directors’ meeting on March 29. Former president Hisanori Fuwa has assumed the position of senior advisor of Toshiba Corporation.
