Consumer confidence is one of the important economic measures for the HVAC market. U.S. consumer confidence increased to its highest level in almost 17 years in October 2017 after remaining relatively flat in September, showing that the economy has continued to achieve modest recovery since the recession.
 
In addition, low gas prices and low unemployment pushed up U.S. air conditioner demand in 2017. Recognition of ductless air conditioners has gradually increased, and ductless systems have maintained steady double-digit growth. Although the U.S. air conditioner market got off to a late start this year, sales were brisk in April.
