Nestle to add 7MW of solar PV at Dubai factories
2017/12/29

ALEC Energy and Yellow Door Energy to install systems at three locations
December 28, 2017
Food giant Nestle plans to install solar photovoltaic (PV) modules at three of its Dubai factories to generate 7MW of electricity and save six million Kgs of CO2 emissions annually.

ALEC Energy and Yellow Door Energy, a provider of lease-to-own solar energy solutions, will design, install, operate and maintain the systems at the three factories.

Nestle awarded the contract for the project to ALEC Energy, which in turn introduced Yellow Door Energy as operators and finance partners.

“The ALEC Energy team produced an innovative, cost effective, and efficient design matching Nestle’s ambitious renewable energy targets,” said James Stewart, general manager of ALEC Energy.
