Gree SH Series Rotary Compressors for VRFs

Over a period of 11 years, Gree has developed twin rotary compressors from the zero generation to the fourth generation, now covering 60 models with R410A, R32, and R22 refrigerants. Among them, production of 5-hp compressors for floor-standing and ceiling-cassette types of air conditioners has reached 0.8 million units per year.
 
Gree SH series compressors for variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems adopt twin-cylinder variable displacement technology greatly decreases the pressure loss during compressor discharging, and optimizes the discharge process. Compared with traditional systems, power dissipation can be lowered 5% and energy efficiency is significantly improved. The twin- cylinder technology also greatly decreases the displacement temperature of air conditioners to significantly improve the coefficient of performance (COP) and resolve the problem of the high displacement temperature of R32 refrigerant. The compression rate and displacement temperature will increase when the condensation temperature rises in summer and the evaporation temperature drops in winter. In poor working conditions, the SH series rotary compressor, which adopts a design incorporating high-temperature -resistance motor materials and high wear-resistance bearings, ensures a better performance than the scroll compressor, especially under extremely low-temperature conditions.
