Panasonic France Announces Launching of CO2 Refrigeration Systems
2017/12/24
In the past, Panasonic France has focused primarily on the air conditioning and heating sectors, and was called Panasonic Chauffage et Climatisation (Panasonic Heating and Air Conditioning). During the Interclima+elec exhibition held from November 7 to 10 in France, the company announced the launching of CO2 refrigeration units for the tertiary sector along with a name change and a new logo reflecting this new activity: Panasonic Chauffage, Climatisation et Refrigeration (Panasonic Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration). (See photo report on page 36.)

Panasonic’s new CO2 refrigeration units can operate at temperatures ranging from -25°C to +43°C, and are designed for convenience stores, small supermarkets, service stations, fast food outlets, industrial kitchens, and other industrial sectors requiring refrigeration. The company is entering this market for the first time, and is convinced that the penetration of the CO2 refrigeration units will expand rapidly.
