2017/12/04
1 December, 2017
Combined organisation aims to bring together expertise around energy efficiency and district heating to reflect changing UK market needs

The Association for the Conservation of Energy (ACE) and the Association for Decentralised Energy (ADE) will merge their operations to better meet needs for holistic approaches to sustainable power and heating.

Plans to merge the two organisations were announced this week during the Heat and Decentralised Energy Conference in order to create a single entity that can focus on industrial, commercial, public sector and domestic applications.

The new combined Association for Decentralised Energy will see Dr Tim Rotheray retain his position with the organisation. ACE chief executive Dr Joanne Wade will serve as deputy director for the body.
