Air conditioner control in its early stages

An air conditioner is mainly composed of refrigeration cycle components such as a compressor, heat exchangers, and an expansion device, air blowing components such as fans, as well as motors, control equipment, and a casing.

A window type air conditioner, the simplest form of air conditioner, is divided into indoor and outdoor sides by a partition panel between them, and various components are placed on both sides. In order to reduce the initial costs and reduce the footprint of the system, the indoor and outdoor fans are driven by a single motor. Users control the room temperature by setting the mounted thermostat as the only control unit used to achieve the desired temperature.
