Kenya's Vision 2030 on Track
2017/08/28
August 24, 2017
・ The Big 5 Construct East Africa 2017 (1-3 November) will play host to 220 local and international exhibiting brands during the three days of National Construction Week.

The construction industry in Kenya will continue to flourish following on from the re-election of Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta at the 2017 General Election.

With the Kenya Vision 2030 as a blueprint, all current projects are set to remain underway and the target still in sight. The plan will see the nation become a globally competitive and prosperous country with a high quality of life. Continued efforts to reach the 2030 goal mean that contractors will still benefit from the upward growth previously exhibited by the Kenyan market.

Ahead of the National Construction Week, taking place from 1-3 November, chairman of the National Construction Authority (NCA) Steven Oundo, OGW, confirms that the current “major overhaul of the country’s infrastructure is set to continue steadily in the coming years, as we prepare to grow, expand, improve and develop our country.”
