2017/06/24
Influenced by the harmful effects of haze, over half of Beijing citizens are considering installation of fresh air systems when renovating their homes, according to a survey conducted by 58.com. According to the survey data, over 80% of people are performing research online prior to decorating, and over 70% intend to renovate their homes based on advice received from the Internet.

In Beijing, more than 95% of families with a monthly income of less than RMB 30,000 (US$ 4,400) would spend RMB 150,000 (US$ 22,000) on renovations. However, 72% of the families would pay RMB 50,000 (US$ 7,300) more than their budgets, while 24% spend RMB 100,000 (US$ 14,600) more, mainly because better materials can be used during decoration.
