On February 17, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Systems (MTH) held a private show in Tokyo to enable participants to gain an insight into the company’s products, including new products. MTH seized the opportunity to introduce its GART-ZE and GART-ZEI series centrifugal chillers, MSV air-cooled heat pump chillers, Q-ton heat pump water heaters, Neppu-ton heat pump type hot air generators, HCCV1001 CO2 condensing units for refrigeration/ freezing, EXCEEDHYPER and HyperInverter packaged air conditioners (PACs), AirFlex panels, Hyper Multi LX Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF), and BEAVER brand room air conditioners (RACs).
From April, the company will release the non-inverter type GART-ZE series next-generation centrifugal chiller and the inverter type GART-ZEI series adopting HFO-1234ze(E) refrigerant with a global warming potential (GWP) lower than 1 and no ozone depleting potential (ODP). The refrigerating capacity that can be covered by the two series ranges from 300 to 5,000 RT. As a result, coupled with the existing ETI-Z series in the low-capacity class adopting the low- GWP refrigerant HFO-1233zd(E), MTH offers a lineup ranging from 150 to 5,000 RT, as a first Japanese manufacturer.
