Association of Ammonia Refrigeration (AAR) hosted its annual seminar, ARCON 2017, at Hotel Ramada, Navi Mumbai on January 21. The event was supported by ISHRAE. Over 200 delegates attended the pro-gram. An exhibition was organized on the sidelines of the seminar.
Welcoming the delegates, P. Sudhir Kumar, chairman of ARCON 2017, highlighted the increasing recognition of the role that ammonia is playing as the refrigerant of choice for commercial refrigeration systems.
Anand Joshi, president of AAR, traced the success story of the organization and outlined its roadmap.
The chief guest was Manoj Kumar Singh, joint secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. In his keynote address, he presented the Indian perspective on climate change and the Montreal Protocol.
