Thanks to its large capacity and flexible installation, Samsung’s DVM S series of variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems won two big projects in China: Beijing Hyundai Motor and the South Korean Embassy.
Responding to a call from the Chinese government to boost economic circle integration in Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei, Beijing Hyundai Motor is building new production lines in Cangzhou, Hebei as its forth plant. Samsung supplied DVM S and DVM S Eco models of VRF systems to this new plant with a construction area of 250,000 m2 and cooling capacity demands of 2,782 hp. Samsung won this project thanks to 18 months of effort, efficient communication during the design stage, and strong support from senior management.
