The international Consumer Electronics Show (CES) was held from January 5 to 8, 2017 in Las Vegas, the United States. CES has been showcasing consumer technology innovation since 1967 and this year marked the 50th anniversary. In the past 50 years, CES has grown into the world’s largest consumer electronics exhibition.
At this grand event with the largest exhibition scale ever, Chinese brands had a strong presence. The exhibition attracted over 4,000 exhibitors from around the world, among which more than 1,300 were from China, accounting for nearly one-third of total participants. Renowned Chinese brands at CES included Haier, TCL, Hisense, Skyworth, and Changhong. Korea giants LG and Samsung as well as Japan-based Mitsubishi Electric and Panasonic also attended the expo to showcase their state-of-the-art and smart products.
