UK: A UK cooling technology that can operate without a constant power supply is to undergo pilot trials in Dubai.
Sure Chill, the Cardiff-based company behind the technology, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the state-run Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), after taking part in the 12 week Dubai Future Accelerators Programme.
In September, Sure Chill was one of just 30 companies selected from 2,274 entries from around the world to be part of the ground-breaking Dubai Future Accelerators programme.
Backed by the Dubai government, the 12-week programme was designed to identify emergent technologies and businesses with the potential to address the world’s current and future problems.
