Japan IT Week Autumn, one of Japan’s largest expositions specializing in information technology (IT), was held from October 26 to 28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture. A total of 640 companies exhibited at this year’s upscaled exposition, an increase of 100 companies compared with last year’s expo, and over 40,000 visitors flocked to the threeday event. A broad range of IT-related products and services that have attracted the greatest attention in recent years were densely showcased at eight expositions centering on IoT/M2M Autumn, Data Center Expo Autumn, and Cloud Computing Expo- Japan Autumn. During the threeday event, speakers who are active at the forefront and pioneering the future of business delivered lectures. Concurrently with the expositions, various seminars were held, including very popular seminars during which attendees gained an insight into key trends including the latest technologies, applications, problems, and practices.
