Industry statistics suggest that the variable refrigerant flow (VRF) sales boosted 14.7% over last year to RMB 3.03 billion (US$ 440 million) with domestic sales jumping 15.4% to RMB 2.83 billion (US$ 410 million) and exports rose 8.4% to RMB 0.2 billion (US$ 30 million) in September.
Despite of the lackluster macroeconomic situation in 2016, the air conditioning industry appears to be coming out of the bottom in steady steps. Both domestic and export VRF sales enjoyed robust growth this year resulted from continued efforts in the domestic household decoration markets as well as stronger demand from the overseas.
