Daikin North America will bring to the 2017 AHR Expo its newly released air conditioners.
Among them, the new Aurora series variable refrigerant volume (VRV) will be featured, which is an extension to current Daikin VRV products, assembled in North America. The VRV Aurora series sets a new industry standard for heating and cooling solutions by delivering high heat capacities in low-ambient applications. It delivers heating down to ?22°F (?30°C) as standard. Its efficiencies are optimized with dedicated all-inverter compressors and inverter fan motors. Refrigerant- cooled inverter technology allows its installation without drain pan heaters at extremely low-ambient conditions. The Aurora features automatic changeover functionality as standard for back-up auxiliary heat. Year-round comfort and efficiencies are realized with automatic and customizable variable refrigerant technology. The system design flexibility allows for long pipe installation, and the ability to connect up to 41 indoor units with up to 100 feet (about 30 meters) vertical separation between indoor units.
