Trane introduced DCHC, a new generation VAV fan coil with premium comfort and high energy efficiency operation to Asia Pacific countries and India this summer.
With high efficiency brushless DC (BLDC) motor with permanent magnet (PM) rotor, Trane DCHC energy consumption is drastically reduced comparing to traditional air conditioning fan coil unit (FCU). Thanks to the variable speed control technology, annual energy savings can reach up to 70%. Trane DCHC is also capable of running at super-low speed during night operation, the energy consumption can be as low as a few watts.
With sensor-less BLDC motor driven by sine wave pulse width modulation (PWM) signal and with rubber isolated fan wheel, Trane DCHC noise level can be reduced by up to 2 dB(A) comparing to traditional FCU. Besides, the super-low speed night operation function enables unit noise level to as low as 20 dB(A).
