In the first half of 2016, the Russian chiller market continued to drop. Imports fell more than 1.5-fold in the first half of 2016 compared with the second half of 2015. At the same time, domestic production in-creased.
In order to see more clearly the dynamics of the market (taking into account the last six months), see Figure 1, with annual intervals that end on June 30 instead of December 31.
It can be clearly seen that sales decreased by 32% over the previous year. In absolute terms, this is less than half the peaks of the years 2011 and 2012. More or less the same trend can be seen on other markets such as industrial air-conditioning systems, for example, and the variable refrigerant flow (VRF) and AHU markets.
