The first Danfoss symposium on trends in energy efficiency and sustainability for supermarkets was held on August 16 at Association of Sao Paulo Supermarkets (AOAS) in Sao Paulo. About 150 people attended the event. According to Joan Ordonez, sales director of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Danfoss, the aim of the symposium is to exchange technology, information, and experience in different areas.
The seminar was divided into two blocks: One on energy efficiency in the food retail sector, moderated by Eduardo Drigo, technical support manager at Danfoss. The panel comprised Roger Marson, engineering manager at Eletrofrio, Marcelo Merolli, director of Plotter Racks, and Pierre-Yves Mourgue, CEO of Greenyellow.
