Overall, the Latin American chiller market is now around US$ 300 million, accounting for about 4% of the world chiller market. Despite the location of major markets close to the equator, it is a relatively small chiller market with industrial chiller usage accounting for a large percentage.
In 2016 Latin America has carried forward many problems, originating years ago from both external and internal reasons.
Fortunately some of the external reasons for Latin America’s problems began to resolve in 2016. Improvements were seen in areas such as commodity prices for products exported from these countries. This has helped improve their balance of trade and provided income for additional projects, including infrastructure.
