According to BSRIA, the overall chiller market in the five Middle Eastern countries of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Iran, Qatar, and Kuwait amounted to US$ 608.2 million in 2015, up 13.4% from 2014. Saudi Arabia’s chiller market, the largest in the region, increased by 23.3%.
Looking at chiller types by sales value, the centrifugal chiller segment sharply increased by 42.2% to US$ 169.7 million, while absorption chillers decreased by 15.9% year on year to US$ 54.4 million.
