After two decades of development, China’s private company Nanjing TICA Air-Conditioning has expanded its presence in overseas market from merely exporting products to cooperating with multinational corporations.
On June 19, JARN visited TICA and toured around a production line of variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems and an ISO1-level ultraclean lab at its new plant. Jiang Li, TICA chairman, shared with JARN his opinion over the company’s technology development and globalization strategy.
The phase-one construction project of TICA headquarters in Nanjing enjoyed investment of RMB 450 million (US$ 72 million) to build a commercial air conditioner production base of the highest grade in China along with 20 large-scale state-level test labs for air conditioners certified by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). TICA also established an enterprise academician working station in April, 2014.
