1. Global HVAC&R Leaders to Gather at Chillventa 2018
From October 16 to 18, 2018, Chillventa, the gathering place for the international refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pump community, will once again make the exhibition venue in Nuremberg. The Chillventa Congress will be held on October 15, the day before the exhibition. The compact one-day congress program will give experts from around the world the chance to learn about the latest trends and developments in depth.

2. Mayekawa to Feature Products Adopting Natural Five Refrigerants
At Chillventa, Mayekawa Europe will display equipment designed to work with the Natural FIVE, namely five natural refrigerants of ammonia (NH3), carbon dioxide (CO2), water (H2O), hydrocarbons (HC), and air. The company will exhibit the MACC series air-cooled chiller unit incorporating a semi-hermetic reciprocating compressor with ammonia refrigerant, the M series of reciprocating compressors and the gas turbine compressor as a core part of the Pascal Air unit. 3. Bitzer to Display New Models of Ecolite Condensing Unit
At Chillventa, compressor specialist Bitzer is expanding its range of condensing units with a new series: The seven aircooled models in the Ecolite series have been designed for low and medium temperature applications and for a multitude of applications – for example, in cold stores, display counters, and small shops. Its compact, low noise design as well as the use of efficient components in combination with the capacity control of the semi-hermetic compressors makes it extremely adaptive to various applications. 4. Danfoss to Feature Its Chillers and Heat Pump Technology
At Chillventa, the Danfoss air conditioning and heat pump segment will be presenting the next generation and highly efficient solutions compatible with lower global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants. One of Danfoss’ focal points at the show is on the Extended Oil free program (EXO). It offers a wide range of oil-free key components, like compressors, heat exchangers, valves, and controls, which, in combination, significantly increase the reliability and efficiency of chillers. 5. ASERCOM + EPEE Symposium at Chillventa 2018
ASERCOM and EPEE are joining forces again at Chillventa. They will co-organize two events during Chillventa and share a booth, promoting discussion of the role of the HVAC&R sector in Europe. This year’s ASERCOM + EPEE Symposium will be held on October 15, from 1 to 5 PM at St. Petersburg room. It will focus on digitalization of the HVAC&R sector, and will feature discussions on challenges including data protection, cybersecurity, and interoperability. The role of legislation and policies designed to benefit from this new technology will be discussed.
