1. New Inverter AC Standard in China May Be Implemented in September
The new national standard of inverter air conditioners has been reviewed and is now in the process of approval. It may be implemented in September or October, and the extended energy-saving subsidy policy, scheduled to end on May 31, will be implemented concurrently.

2. India’s First Solar-assisted Cold Inaugurated
Bhoruka Logistics of Mumbai, a cold chain logistics company caterng primarily to the pharmaceutical industry inaugurated the first of four solar assisted cold rooms at Bhiwandi. Each cold room has a volume of 4,000 ft3.

3. China Refrigeration 2013 Held Successfully
This year on April 8?10, 1,146 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions exhibited at CRH 2013, and the United States, Germany, Korea and India organized national pavilions. About 50,000 visitors from more than 100 countries attended.

4. Fujitsu General Constructs New Technical Center in Shanghai
Fujitsu General has constructed a New Technical Center within the site of Fujitsu General (Shanghai). The total floor area of the Technical Center facilities as a whole expanded to 4,795 m2, about 2.5 times as large as the previous area.

5. U.S. Shipment in February Increases 20.8%
U.S. shipments of central air conditioners and air-source heat pumps totaled 357,637　units in February 2013, up 20.8% in 2012. Year-to-date combined shipments of central air conditioners and air-source heat pumps increased 19.2%, to 658,813 units, during the same period in 2012.
