1. MHI to Establish Centrifugal Chiller JV in China with Dalian Refrigeration
The Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Dalian Refrigeration’s new JV for production, marketing, and servicing of centrifugal chillers will be established in Dalian, Liaoning Province, this July. The JV plans to launch production in April 2014 and establish a structure to produce 500 units per year.

3. Johnson Controls Expands Guangzhou, China Factory
Johnson Controls expanded its Guangzhou factory to house a fully-automated AHU assembly line and four VRF production lines. This new assembly line enhances the AHU manufacturing capacity of the Guangzhou plant by 30%.

4. Air Purification Function Becomes a New Trend for ACs in China
In last winter, the heavy air pollution in big cities in China has formed a new trend for future air conditioner market?to reduce the bad effect of PM2.5. Air conditioners will be converted from a product that can only adjust the temperature to a product which can also control the air quality.
