1. AC Market in 2013 Expected to Expand in China
According to the white paper, the whole air conditioner market in China is estimated to expand by 8% in 2013. Continued policy incentives and lowered production cost due to scale economics will further push up the market share, the energy-saving air conditioners will account for 70% of the market.

2. ACREX 2013 India Held Successfully
The 14th edition of ACREX, the largest and the only HVAC&R exhibition in India, was held in Mumbai on March 7?9, 2013, with 450 exhibitors from 20 countries. It offered a perfect platform to meet the demands of the rapidly expanding Indian market.

4. German Environment Agency Urges Compromise in Daimler-EU Spat
The Germany’s environmental agency, UBA, proposed that the EU grant automaker Daimler until the end of 2015 to meet a new European Union law mandating the use of climate-friendly air conditioning refrigerants in cars, as Reuters reported recently.

5. Kawasaki Launches Top Class Efficiency Double Effect Absorption Chiller-Heater
Beginning April 11, Kawasaki Thermal Engineering in Japan will launch the new models in its ‘Efficio’ double effect absorption chiller-heater series, dubbed the ‘Natural Chiller’ having attained top class COP of 1.51 in the industry.
